Electric mobility

The Mobiloire network of electric vehicle charging stations is part of the inter-Departmental Eborn network

The Mobiloire network of electric vehicle charging stations is part of the inter-Departmental Eborn network.

The Loire’s Mobiloire charging station network – an operation led by SIEL-Territoire d’énergie Loire and funded with the ADEME (environment agency), the municipalities and inter-municipal bodies – is integrated into the sinter-Departmental Eborn network for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

By joining the Eborn network, SIEL-Territoire d’énergie Loire has set Mobiloire some new targets: to increase the number of charging stations, to increase their power, to install charging stations across a wider area.

In 2020, the operational management of the Eborn network will be entrusted to a provider, Easy Charge, which is the Vinci group’s subsidiary dedicated to electric mobility. Easy Charge will be tasked with developing, operating and maintaining the existing charging stations, in close collaboration with SIEL-Territoire d’énergie Loire.

By 2021 the Eborn network will also have integrated the charging station networks of the energy syndicates of several other Departments: Allier (03), Alpes-de-Haute-Provence (04), Hautes-Alpes (05), Ardèche (07), Drôme (26), Isère (38), Haute-Savoie (74), Haute-Loire (43), Savoie (73) and Var (83).

The Eborn network will then cover 11 Departments in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions.

The Mobiloire-Eborn charging stations will continue to be available 24/7. These charging stations allow users to top up their charge while at an appointment, shopping, at the cinema or during a break on a long journey.

The Mobiloire-Eborn facilities will still be accessible via a subscription card and will remain compatible with the subscriptions of other regional, national or European operators.

The charging stations are designed and built locally in Saint-Bonnet-le-Château by Atomelec-Etotem. They allow a full charge in about 1 hr 30.
