ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION OF SIEL-TERRITOIRE D’ÉNERGIE LOIRE

SIEL-Territoire d’énergie Loire is an inter-municipal cooperation body of the type known as an “open syndicate of local authorities” (syndicat mixte ouvert). Unlike other EPCIs of the community of municipalities type, the SIEL-Territoire d’énergie Loire cannot raise taxes and draws its resources only from its members and their participation in the public funding of projects. It exercises a number of competences defined in its articles of association, which are public energy distribution services, energy transition and digital infrastructure development in its territory.

SIEL-Territoire d’énergie Loire’s articles of association are revised regularly and approved by a vote of the Syndicate Committee in order to ensure they keep pace with changes in regulations and the development of new competences.
