At the request of the members of the Public Services Advisory Committee (consumer associations, chamber of commerce and similar, public bodies, etc.), SIEL-Territoire d’énergie Loire since 2008 has put a lot of work into raising awareness in schools.

ÉCOLOUSTICS COMPETITION 2020-2021

[DIARIES AT THE READY] Start planning your participation in the “Les Écoloustics 2021” competition now and benefit from a classroom activity on the theme of energy.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the 2020 edition of the “Les Écoloustics” competition unfortunately had to be cancelled. However, SIEL-Territoire d’Energie Loire wishes to maintain this important event in the diaries of teachers and their pupils.

The 2021 edition of the “Les Ecoloustics” competition aimed at pupils in the last two years of primary and the first year of secondary school will be launched when the schools go back this September.

Teachers and their pupils will be able to work on the theme of energy and the energy transition by creating a newspaper (hard copy or digital) on the topic of: “Energy in my town, yesterday, today and tomorrow”

The classes that sign up for the 2021 competition will benefit, to help them with their preparation, from a free classroom activity run by a qualified instructor.

When the new school term starts, SIEL-TE will be sending out, by post, a presentation brochure and entry form to all the schools in Loire. In the meantime, you can already find these documents at the bottom of this page for more information.

TRAVELLING EXHIBITION ON ENERGY: FREE CLASSROOM ACTIVITY

This activity focuses on several themes :

– Fossil energy resources and the different renewable energy resources.

– Everyday eco-habits.

– Why do we convert primary energy ?

– The different stakeholders and their roles: from producer to consumer.

Children’s awareness of the issues around energy is therefore raised with the aim of making them active and responsible.

Participants in the “Les Écoloustics” competition will automatically benefit from a free classroom activity on energy run by a qualified instructor.

NB : The classes who entered in 2020 that did not benefit from the planned activities this year will be contacted by an instructor as soon as the schools go back in September. Where possible the activities will be rescheduled between September and December.
